PSG vs Metz
Coupe de la Ligue Quarter-final
Date: Wednesday, 11th January 2017
Kick off at 20:05 UK/21:05 CET
Venue: Parc des Princes (Paris).
PSG announced themselves into the New Year with a thumping 7-0 win over fellow Ligue 1 side Bastia in the Coupe de France fixture on Sunday. Unai Emery went in with a rotated side for the match resting the likes of Cavani and Angel di Maria. But they hardly looked like a fringe side.
The new signing from Wolfsburg Julian Draxler made his first competitive appearance in a PSG shirt after coming on a substitute in the 58th minute. It is a debut to remember for the German international as he scored his first goal for the club in the 89th minute of the match.
Metz are rooted in a relegation battle this season and they are currently positioned at 18th in the Ligue 1 table. They lost 2-0 to second division side Lens in the Coupe de France fixture on Sunday which put them on a 3 match win-less streak. Their only win in the last 10 matches in all competition was in the previous round of the Coup de la Ligue fixture. However they needed the lucky lot of penalty shootout to see-off Toulouse on that occasion.

PSG vs Metz: Prediction
There is no doubt PSG will win this fixture without any trouble. The bookmakers are offering a PSG win at the odds of 1.10, which is rather useless to use in any bet slip. One of the option we recommend for this match is to pick over 1.5 goals in the first half which can be grabbed at an excellent odds of 1.90. Those who are looking for a banker’s bet from this match can opt for PSG to win first half.
